About the Nipsy Timzy Series

mom

The Nipsy Timzy series is a creative children’s book collection that entertains and educates at the same time.  Based on the adventures of  a young boy, William Cooper, and his two dogs, Nipsy and Timzy, the stories share tales that captivate young readers while exposing them to above-level vocabulary and positive messaging about social acceptance.

Intentionally “overwritten” compared to most children’s books, parents are encouraged to read along with their kids and to discuss the vocabulary presented. When learning is presented through the entertaining tales, it has a more meaningful and long-lasting impact on young readers.

THE COOPER CHARITABLE FUND

The Cooper Charitable Fund is committed to funding charities ranging from animal rescue to educational programs. 5% of gross profits generated by the sale of Nipsy Timzy books will be donated to charity.

The Author

Gregory Law was born in Connecticut, raised in North Carolina and has called Chicago home since 1988.

Inspired by the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Greg acted upon a patriotic calling and decided to serve his country. He became one of the oldest enlisted soldiers in the US Army in 2006, when the enlistment age limit was raised to 41, making him eligible to serve for the first time since 9/11.

He left his job in Chicago and became the oldest incoming paratrooper to ever join the U.S. Army’s storied 82nd Airborne Division. His tour of duty included deployments to Iraq as part of the ‘Surge’ in early 2007 and humanitarian/peacekeeping efforts in Haiti immediately following the devastating earthquake of January 2010.

The idea to create this book series, The Adventures of Nipsy and Timzy, began in Iraq and is loosely based on his adventures with his dogs growing up. In this first book, Coming Home, he sets the tone for a sophisticated book series designed to educate and raise the level of literacy in young readers.
